Today is day zero. I hope you didn't get your hopes up that it could be day one...
He ate well most of the day; was a bit sleepy at three and ate less than normal, but still ate well. We are hoping he wakes now so we can feed him before shift change when they kick us out in 45 minutes.
He is beautiful, yet premature. With time he will grow out of his apnea and come home.
We'll be back in the morning and will report then

Zack and Amie, (and all blog followers: Ashton is absolutely beautiful beyond words -- so perfectly formed in every way. To have held him on Sunday left me in awe. Thank you for bringing this amazing child into the world. I do love him. continue to take care of the two of you as well.
